Announcement for the transport of dogs to the United States

Please be informed that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued the following notification regarding the transportation of dogs to the United States.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a notice to temporarily suspend the entry of dogs from countries and areas that CDC considers high risk for rabies, and dogs that have been in countries and areas at high risk for rabies in the past 6 months on passenger and cargo flights arriving in the United States on or after July 14, 2021.

Dogs from countries and areas classified as at high risk for rabies and dogs that have been in countries and areas at high risk for rabies in the past 6 months may apply to the CDC at least 30 business days before entering the United States in certain circumstances.

Please note that you will not receive approval from the CDC upon arrival in the United States, and the dogs that arrive from countries and areas where rabies is considered to be at high risk without prior CDC approval will be denied entry and returned to the country of departure at your own expense.
