【Advance Notice】 Additional ACAS requirements for shipments to and via the U.S.

Thank you for your continued support of the ANA group.
Regarding the subject matter, last summer the US authorities notified us that additional items of advance cargo information will be added to the requirements for Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) program for the US, which came into effect on June 12, 2019. In preparation for the start of the submission, we ask all customers to prepare to submit the additional information.
Please note that if accurate information on the additional items is not submitted after this requirement becomes mandatory, loading approval will not be granted and your shipment may be offloaded from the scheduled flight, or you may be subject to penalties from the US authorities.
We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The following information items can be submitted via Cargo-IMP (FWB/FHL) or Cargo-XML (XFWB/XFZB) data. The underlined items are items that need to be submitted with priority.
(1) Shipper Email
(2) Shipper Phone Number
(3) Consignee Email
(4) Consignee Phone Number
(5) Customer Account Holder
(6) Customer Account Name
(7) Customer Account Issuer
(8) Customer Account Number
(9) Customer Account Shipping Frequency/Volume
(10) Verified Known Consignor
(11) Customer Account Establishment Date
(12) Customer Account Billing Type
(13) IP Address used during creation of Customer Account or MAC Address
(14) IP Address used to request shipment pickup or bill creation or MAC Address)
(15) Biographic Data (Proof of Identity/Gov/t Issued Document Number, Document Country,D.O.B.) - How to send information
Please send the data in a format that complies with the following guidelines issued by IATA.

Currently, there have been no cases where ACAS approval has not been obtained from the U.S. authorities due to the presence or absence of the additional items, but once the requirement becomes mandatory, it is possible that there will be cases where approval will not be obtained. - Confidentiality
Any information submitted by customers will not be used for any purpose other than transportation purposes. Furthermore, unless instructed by authorities, it will not be disclosed to outside parties. - Liability
Please note that if the US authorities impose penalties and fines on us and it is determined that the cause is attributable to your actions or omissions, we may find it necessary to invoice you for the associated costs. - Other
