CARGO loaded on incoming aircraft: Goods that may present a risk of importation of infected mosquitoes (as defined in the Arbovirosis Plan, such as tyres, cut flowers, ornamental plants transported in watery substrates, exotic wood trunks that may contain even small amounts of water, saucers, etc.) must be accompanied by certificates attesting to their disinsection at the time of shipment from the affected areas.
The lack of certificates constitutes a significant non-compliance with the current regulations, compromising the prevention system. As a result, the health authority will issue an order to disinsect the goods on site immediately for subsequent nationalization, which will be at the importers' expense.
