Handling of Portable Electric Devices (PED) in Cargo Compartment

Thank you for your continuous support to ANA group.
Please be informed that PED (Portable Electric Devices) such as data loggers for recording temperature and vibrations/shock for quality management, it is acceptable as long as the PED is listed on the "Confirmed Electric Device List" even in the condition of the power turned on.
As for communication function of devices that emit radio waves, in principal, it must be turned off from takeoff until landing. However, devices with a flight mode function that can automatically turn off the communication function during takeoff, or devices whose EIRP (Equivalent Isotropic Radiated Power) is confirmed to be not more than 100mW or 20dBm, it can be accepted with the communication function turned on.
For PEDs NOT listed in the "Confirmed Electric Device List", please kindly contact ANA with necessary documents for verification.
